Born in San Francisco in 2000, in the heart of the global digital revolution, we have a strong, local presence throughout the U.S., in the UK, Central and Eastern Europe, and Colombia. We already total more than 600 dedicated specialists worldwide, who seamlessly offer insight and solutions for every aspect of a successful digital commerce enterprise. And we’ve been doing this since the early days of online shopping. We have launched online shopping experiences all over the world, in more than 50 countries, for brands selling everything from luxury goods, to entertainment, fashion, food + wine, activewear + gear, and much more. Brands like Adidas, L’Oreal, Under Armour, Jimmy Choo and Versace. We have significant experience and excellent working relationships with most of the leading platforms and technologies in the industry. And from the very start, we proudly build things ourselves, with our own people. So we have seen a lot. Everything you can imagine and a few things you might not. We can’t wait to get started on what’s next.
We proudly set out on our journey as an e-Commerce Systems Integrator. Along the way, we have added creative services, UX, retail consulting, and a proprietary methodology that keeps everyone and everything related to a project on a steady course to a successful completion. From the start, we have worked hard to provide a great experience and “wow” our customers. To not only succeed but to exceed expectations. Being astounding is now an expectation, for us, for how we work with partners and how we deliver to clients. That’s the “astound” part. The “commerce” part is to remind us that everything we do is focused on driving results for our clients and helping them deliver the best experience for their consumers. Together, Astound Commerce represents not only what we do, but how we do it.
“The sail” is literally a stylized “A” from our name, Astound. But what it represents is the idea of capturing the wind as a sail does for a boat. To constantly gauge the changing conditions in real time, through an intentional process. Then, based on the data and how we interpret it because of our experience, correct course to take the best advantage of the conditions. This course correction may be subtle, by trimming our sails, or profound, by jibing to reach uncharted waters. “The sail” stands as a reminder to take advantage of the prevailing winds when they blow strong. And to strategically tack back and forth during lulls, so we are never dead in the water. Instead, always staying fast, nimble and smart, whatever the conditions.

First portfolio of IBM WebSphere Commerce sites implemented in four months – a record recognized by IBM.
Established partnership with Demandware (now Saleforce Commerce Cloud).
Opened first development and support center in Central Europe.
Initial iterations of the Astound Way, our unique process that keeps projects clear, efficient, productive, and moving forward.
